MEET SOMMELIER ALEKSANDRA ADAMEK
I am a certified sommelier
and social anthropologist living in Montalcino. My life was not always in wine. I've spent a decade working for Humanitarian Projects across the world which taught me the importance of local cultures, sustainable agriculture and the authenticity of products.
Wine has always been my passion
which I've now been fortunate enough to turn into my profession. Eighteen years ago I moved to Tuscany where I became a certified AIS sommelier, Montalcino resident and a member of the local wine community, founding my company
Select Tasting.
My past work as a humanitarian researcher helped me to understand that there is an interconnection between all people on the planet. This led me to unite my two passions in life, wine and social causes.
Whether it is a glass of wine we enjoy together, a bottle I suggest, or a winery we visit, they must be in line with my life philosophy:
the highest of quality, and healthy for both us and the planet.

Club Brunello is a subscription-based wine club program while Collector’s Shop is a pop-up store activated a few times a year.
I personally hand-pick a limited number of amazing wines for our exclusive selections. I visit all the vineyards and taste from barrel to bottle with the winemakers, so you are sure to receive authentic and terroir-driven wines.
