MEET SOMMELIER ALEKSANDRA ADAMEK
Welcome!
I am a certified sommelier and social anthropologist
based in Montalcino, Tuscany. My journey to the world of wine was not immediate; for over a decade, I dedicated myself to humanitarian projects across the globe. These experiences instilled in me a deep respect for local cultures, sustainable agriculture, and the authenticity of the products we enjoy.
While wine has always been my passion, I am fortunate to now call it my profession. Eighteen years ago, I settled in the heart of Tuscany, becoming a certified AIS sommelier, a proud Montalcino resident, and an active member of the local wine community. It was here that I founded Select Tasting, a company that merges my love for wine with a focus on quality and sustainability.
My background in humanitarian research shaped my understanding of the interconnectedness of people and the world around us. This realization has driven me to bring together my two great passions: wine and social causes.
Whether we're savoring a glass together, exploring my curated wine recommendations, or visiting a local winery, each experience is guided by my philosophy: to seek out the highest quality wines that are good for both us and the planet.

Wine Club Brunello & Collector's Online Shop
Club Brunello is a subscription-based wine club program while Collector’s Shop is a pop-up store activated a few times a year.
I personally hand-pick a limited number of amazing wines for our exclusive selections. I visit all the vineyards and taste from barrel to bottle with the winemakers, so you are sure to receive authentic and terroir-driven wines.
Your wine will always be delivered in the most professional way: temperature controlled, secure, from the wine cellar direct to your door.
